WHO WE ARE
A local pub in the heart of the village of St Buryan, Sarah & Steve welcome you to their family & dog friendly pub.. We offer Cornish Cask Ales and popular lagers & ciders plus a range of wines and spirits. Sarah offers a wide menu including lots of delicious homecooked favourites plus a range of ever-changing specials using local fish, seafood and meat. We are also proud of our pizza oven allowing us to make 12 inch stonecrust pizzas to order (eat in or takeaway) and you should always leave room for a yummy dessert! A children's menu should suit all the littles ones in the family plus we are happy to cater for those with special dietary needs.
We also offer a private self-contained apartment sleeping two which is an ideal base for exploring the delights of all that West Cornwall has to offer - check out the 'Room at the Inn' section of the website

Home cooked family style food
There is something for everyone at the St Buryan Inn. Sarah aka Landlady, aka chef, cooks local seasonal food all year round including traditional family favourites (sometimes with a 'Sarah Twist'. Sarah also likes to use lots of fresh local fish and seafood on her ever-changing specials board plus some inventive puddings! Children are well catered for with 'help yourself book & game shelves' plus colouring sheets for the little ones (although adults are also encouraged to express their creative side on our tablemats! A varied children's menu is offered with lots to entice their tastebuds. We also welcome well-behaved furry friends - and may have a treat or two for them too!
Pit Stop
The St Buryan Inn is the ideal place for cyclists and walkers alike to relax after a long day on the bike/foot, with our sun-trap beer garden, cold drinks and food all available for the perfect recharge and pit stop. We are the perfect resting spot for those heading to Porthcurno, the Minack Theatre or Lands End!
Salty sea dogs are welcome here!
Friendly, well behaved dogs are welcome in our bar & lounge - we may even reward them with a treat or two. We ask that you respect our other visitors when you are sat dining with your furry friends.

Catch of the day
We are so lucky to have an amazing supply of fresh fish and seafood from Trelawneys in Newlyn, just a short drive away. Sarah liaises with Rob (Trelawneys 'Sea Dog') to get the freshest local Cornish fish from the fish market to make it onto your plate.

Take away Pizza!
Local? Or just visiting? The closest place to order pizza is back in Penzance and they will not deliver.... this is not a problem! Just know that you can count on us. Simple call and place your order - you can collect your yummy home made 12 inch pizza from us once ready or come in and wait with a drink at the bar.

The best of the South West
Get your walking boots on and enjoy the miles of coastal walks Cornwall has to offer! Walking the South West Coastal Path can lead you across stunning seaside views and beautiful mining and heritage sites. Introduce yourself to some cliff climb challenges that will certainly blow away the cob webs! Our neighbouring villages such as Sennen Cove, Porthcurthno (with the cliff-set Minack Theatre) and Land Ends to name a few, are a must see. Come enjoy the most south-westerly locations of England and it’s stunning Cornish coast lines. OGGY OGGY OGGY.....

Sunday Roast (Seasonal Availability)
Sundays for us means a big family roast! Let us do all the work for you, while you sit and enjoy some family time. We offer two choices of two Local meats (choices vary) plus gorgeous roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings and a selection of local vegetables grown less than 2 miles away. We know that the children sometimes get a bit fed up so we also have board games, cards and toys to use during your stay...plus wine and local cask ales for the grown ups! Enjoy a Sunday roast and a pudding in our cosy lounge.
The fire is stocked, the wine is flowing and there is gravy on your potatoes....what more could you want?
Accessibility .
We have wheel chair access to the side of our pub, so please do not be put off by the step into the main entrance. If you need any assistance, please ask a member of staff. If you are eating, please call ahead and we will reserve you an easy accessible table.
Unfortunately, we do not have a disabled toilet but our toilets are more than big enough to accommodate a wheelchair! Guide dogs are welcome in the bar and lounge area.
Room at the Inn
We have a self catering apartment to the rear of the pub. It sleeps two people in a comfy double bed on the mezzanine floor with bedside tables, hanging rail, trouser press and chest of drawers. Downstairs there is a small lounge area with free Wi-Fi ,TV and sofa plus a kitchenette with tea & coffee making facilties, oven, hob, microwave, fridge and toaster. Of course, you can also also choose to takeaway a meal or pizza from the pub kitchen to eat in your own space
